“Here is where I get opportunities to meet,

interact, and learn from

so many others.”

From Advocacy to Z39.50 and everything in between

Our workshops are not only fun - they foster opportunities for members and CMRLS staff to share ideas and best practices—leading to multi-type library interactions that save money, solve problems and generate innovative approaches for services to end-users.

Our workshop catalog is mailed to members three times yearly and posted here. Online registration is available for most offerings, making it fast, easy and convenient for you to sign up.

Basic Library Techniques (BLT) are a group of four training courses designed for public library directors in communities with a population of less than 10,000 who do not have a Master of Library Science degree.
